Osteospermum

Today at IKEA, near the registers, they had some live plants in pots for sale. As soon as I saw the pallet of white and purple daisy-like flowers with thick green leaves, my heart did a little skip. These were my favorite flower back in California, where they grow wild. So I bought three of them, and planted them in the cement plant holders that have left empty outside of my house for three years. I am so looking forward now to them greeting me when I come home everyday.

It is funny how the simplest little things are all we need to make our hearts happy.
