Why in the world not?

I am currently preparing a grant application for an exhibit at Vikingaheimar, and oh my goodness, how much fun is this! I mean of course there are all sorts of details and picky questions, but the fun part of a grant application is the opportunity it provides to think big. Why not include something about boat burials in the Aland Islands? Seriously, why not? The idea is to give the public as much of a frame of reference for the importance of Viking ships in the Viking Age, and there is no reason whatsoever not to cast the net wide.

The grantees may not agree, of course, but it never hurts to ask.
