Handball

On the assumption that very few Icelanders are actually reading my blog, I'm going to go ahead and say that this sport has got to be one of the easiest I can imagine. It is like basketball without the challenge of dribbling the ball or trying to throw an oversize ball in a tiny basket. And it is like soccer, only on a smaller court and without the regulation of never touching the ball. But it is the one Olympic team sport Icelanders have been competitive in.

Ha! But a German is reading your blog and we won the world championship title this year. So there it goes:
You know, Anthony keeps saying the same thing. I assume none of you had to play handball in your life. Given that I had to play it almost every year in PE, it is NOT that easy to get he ball in ;-)
A) you're really not allowed to get all that close to the goal, b) you have to run with the ball but you're not allowed to go more than 3 steps with it then you have to pass. Obviously, the players of the other team are all around you trying to get the ball from you.
No, it is not easy. Trust me.

Ditto. Handball is not an easy sport. And didn't the Danes win the world championship this year?
